Our rustic cottages are only 4 miles from Route 93 in Frankin, New Hampshire, making it easy to zip through the Lakes Region or up to the White Mountains. Although private, we are also just 1 miles from the Franklin Falls Dam, 2 miles from local stores and just 6 miles to the popular Tilton NH shopping outlets. We are very dog friendly. All dogs are permitted unless they pose a health or safety risk or are prohibited by law. There is plenty of room for your furry companion to explore and there is lots of water to play in and swim. We have old-timey NH cottages for rent with modern upgrades we’ve all come to rely on. Each of our pet friendly cottages has cable TV, Wifi internet, stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, propane grill, and an outdoor fireplace for you to relax and enjoy nature. We also have a private beach with a boat ramp, and row and paddle boats for everyone to use. No charge!
About Us
Our family bought the raw acreage on the Pemigewasset River in 1981 in Franklin NH and over time cleared the land, put in roads and services, and built these rustic cottages by hand using rough cut wood from a local mill. Today, it is managed by Jane (the nice one) and John (her son) who comes up from Florida to do the grunt work and anything computer related.
